Core skills in fitness training
People engaged in overall fitness training often have programmes involving gym work-outs, runs and healthcare regimes. They are better off developing all their core skills in balance with each other. This means that each core skill will be developed to the optimum rather than the maximum.
Balance
Balance is fundamental to every sport and is often well developed in people engaged in fitness training. People involved in aerobic or other forms of group training often acquire excellent balance. One of the biggest benefits of good balance for anyone remains injury prevention.
Balance is very important for people of all age groups. So it’s good to know that people can improve their balance whatever their age.
Jumping ability
The older you are, the more you need the kind of leg strength that is important for jumping ability. Most fitness athletes have good but not exceptional strength.
Speed
A basic level of speed is enough for general fitness training, which is why most programmes do not focus on speed.
